The Custom Design Process
This is a general overview of the process of commissioning, designing, and creating custom furniture, displays, fine art piece, or sculpture. The total time from ideation to construction can vary depending on the availability of materials, my overall number of projects, the number of design iterations, and your deadline.

Custom Design Process
I create unique pieces of tailor-made furniture for a specific area, purpose, or style. Whether a residential or commercial project, custom-made furniture marries function and style, is built to last, is environmentally sustainable, and is entirely original. I am based in Austin, TX and whenever possible, use locally sources materials from Texas.
Custom furniture design is a collaborative effort. After discussing and understanding your needs, I create a potential design, refine it with your feedback, select and order materials, craft the product, and deliver and install it as needed. The timeline of a custom furniture project varies based on its complexity and the availability of materials.
From traditional to art deco to mid-century modern, the result is a beautiful and practical piece that withstands the test of time. To see if my services fit your vision, visit the Gallery to view my custom furniture designs.
