With a growing interest in design and living spaces, Henry became a founding partner in a Brooklyn based furniture design company. In addition, Henry collaborated with numerous museums and galleries, including the Jewish Museum, PS1/MOMA, and The Guggenheim to design and build installations and art space for a number of exhibits. The challenges of accommodating diverse exhibits in the unique and multi-dimensional spaces of the museums helped hone the artistry and craftsmanship that define his work.

In 2003, the lure of clean air, big skies, family, and new opportunities prompted his return to his native Texas where he and his wife Jamie settled in Austin.
